The Chop Shop at Hi-Cal Barbershop is by appointment only.  We will try and accomodate a "walk-in" customer, but sometimes due to our busy appointment schedule we may not being able to.

The vision of The Chop Shop at Hi-Cal is an environment where the customer is surrounded with culture. Man culture. Cars, guns, music, art, tattoos, food, whiskey, shaving, brotherhood, and comradery. (Plus a healthy dose of Barber Dave's famous sarcasm.)

We strive for the vision.  However our philosophy of The Chop Shop functions as such, just as there is a difference between buying a suit off the rack and purchasing one that is tailor made, there is a difference between getting a generic $12 haircut elsewhere and receiving a bespoken grooming experience here at The Chop Shop at Hi-Cal.  

 

Each haircut is a personal statement, a brand, a visual fingerprint of who you are, that is an expression of individuality and uniqueness. The essence of who you are, from your style to facial structure, personality to profession, is taken into account with each haircut you receive.  This is what separates us from the rest of the barbershops in the area.  Barber Dave has passion and pride in every service his gives.

Here you can retreat into a space of pampering and comfort. Upon entering you can have  a courtesy beverage ranging from bottled water, soda, juices, beers, and fine liquors. As you receive your select beverage, kick back and relax on our plush couch or comfy chairs.  Turn on our flat screen TV, use our free Wi-Fi, or read a few pages from our wide array of books and magazines to entertain you until the start of your appointment.

 

Here our business is your pleasure. We provide a service of excellence, a space of peace, and the experience of "looking good" when you leave.  If Barber Dave can't make you look good...  well, then you're just ugly!
